The Hispanic American Organization's Board of Directors is the governing body of the nonprofit. Individuals who sit on the board are responsible for overseeing our agency's activities. Board members meet periodically to discuss and vote on the affairs of the organization.
Board Members are not set up to be permanent positions; HAO has set terms for Board Members.

Glenn E. Lichtenwalner
Chairperson
Glenn E. Lichtenwalner is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Architect at the W2A Design Group in Allentown, PA. As a licensed architect, Mr. Lichtenwalner has been a member of the American Institute of Architects since 1987.
​
He has worked as the Chief Architect on numerous nonprofit, educational, governmental, institutional, and commercial commissions. In recognition of this work, Mr. Lichtenwalner and W2A Design Group have received several American Institute of Architects awards.
​
He received his Bachelor of Science from Catholic University in 1981, and his Bachelor of Architecture from Drexel University in 1985.
​
Mr. Lichtenwalner is an active community leader, having served in leadership positions at his church, Jordan United Church of Christ, Boy Scouts of America, Lehigh Valley United Premier Soccer Club, Schnecksville Playground Association, and Lehigh Conference of Churches Executive Board.

Victor Salicetti
Vice Chairperson
Victor Salicetti is an accomplished business owner and IT executive with over 20 years of experience leading global IT strategies and operations. Mr. Salicetti has experience directing global IT teams in Europe, Asia, and South America for mulibillion-dollar organizations for which he has served in various senior leadership positions.
​
Currently, Mr. Salicetti is the Managing Partner and Chief Information Officer for AmericaVen, a leading audiovisual, information technology, telecommunications, and digital signage company headquartered in Bethlehem, PA. AmericaVen focuses on providing complete technology solutions for small to midsize companies in the tristate area.
​
Mr. Salicetti graduated from University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, and completed his graduate studies in MSIS from Stevens Institute of Technology. He has earned various IT awards including the InformationWeek 500 "Most Innovative Use of Technology" recognition award in 2002, and the Global Project Implementation Award from the Bentley International Conference.

In addition to his work at HAO, Mr. Salicetti is a Board Member for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (past president), American Red Cross of the Greater Lehigh Valley, Valley Youth House, and Good Shepherd.

Ronald Gowland
Treasurer
Ronald Gowland is a longtime resident of the Lehigh Valley—having lived here for over 40 years. As an invested member of our community, Mr. Gowland has worked at Toshiba Business Solutions of Allentown for the last 17 years.
In his capacity as Digital System Specialist, Mr. Gowland supports client systems, remotely troubleshooting for routine technical problems related to networks, connectivity, systems and applications. His knowledge of IT support includes the latest technical advances in networking systems, connectivity and related software, as well as expertise of the hardware and software industry.
Mr. Gowland received his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Industrial Management.
He has been a Board Member at HAO for two years, and also served as a Board Member of the Lehigh County Humane Society.

Celia Petiprin
Secretary
Celia Petiprin is a longtime member of the HAO family, having held a number of different roles at the agency since 1993. ​She began her work at the organization as an ESL teacher, and then transitioned to positions in the job development and grant writing departments.
​
As an accomplished manager, Ms. Petiprin served as HAO's Director of Operations, where she was responsible for managing and running day-to-day operations for the entire organization--a position she held until her retirement in 2012.
​
Prior to her work at HAO, Ms. Petiprin worked at Valley Personnel, a job placement organization, and for the Allentown School District as an English teacher.
​
Ms. Petiprin is a graduate of Grove City College, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English, with Minors in Education and Psychology.

Robert P. Daday, Jr.
Member
Robert C. Daday, Jr. is the principal at the Law Offices of Robert P. Daday, Jr., and a Senior Attorney with Portnoff Law Associates, Ltd. where his practice consists of real estate-related matters and municipal claims.
​
Mr. Daday is a retired Colonel in the United States Marine Corps. While on active duty, he served as Deputy Counsel, Marine Corps Air Bases Western Area. Most recently, Mr. Daday served in the Marine Corps Reserves as Judge Advocate at Marine Aircraft Group 49, Willow Grove, Pennsylvania.
​
From 1993-1998, Mr. Daday served as Chief Counsel to the Crime Victims’ Compensation Board and Assistant Counsel for the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue. Mr. Daday also served as Deputy Chief Counsel for the Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs and was responsible for providing legal services to five state veterans’ homes located throughout the Commonwealth. From 1998-2001, Mr. Daday served as the Solicitor for the City of Allentown and was responsible for providing legal services to the Mayor, City Council, and Department heads.

Mr. Daday continues to be an active member of the Allentown community. In addition to serving on the HAO Board of Directors, Mr. Daday has served on the following Board of Directors: Crime Victims’ Council of the Lehigh Valley and U.S. Marine Corps Youth Foundation. Mr. Daday is a State Committee person for the Pennsylvania Republican Party and also serves as a Lehigh County Committee person. He recently held the position of County Vice-Chairman of the party. Mr. Daday has also serves on the Board of Directors of the Lehigh County Bar Association.

Mr. Daday graduated from Catholic University (B.A., 1981) and Temple University School of Law (J.D. 1985). He is a member of both the Lehigh County and Northampton County Bar Associations.

Gary L. Dologite
Member
Gary L. Dologite is a practiced human resource professional with multi-industry experience and an international perspective that derives from having lived and worked in Guatemala at the Instituto de Ciencia y Technologia Agricula.
Mr. Dologite is the Principal of Dologite Consulting, LLC, focusing on human resource management. Previously, he served as Assistant Dean in Moravian College’s graduate and continuing studies program. Prior to Moravian College, Mr. Dologite worked as a senior consultant at SECURUS HR Solutions, and as a Senior Vice President of HR at Fulton Financial Corporation and Lafayette Ambassador Bank.
He received his undergraduate education from West Chester University and postgraduate education from Lehigh University and Human Resource Certification Institute.
Mr. Dologite is a dedicated public servant, having been appointed to serve on the Northampton County Government Personnel Commission, and having served as a Board Member on the Sun Inn Preservation Association in Bethlehem, and on the Human Resource Committee for the Victory House of the Lehigh Valley.

Nat L. Hyman
Member
Nat Hyman is a respected civic leader who was born and raised in the Lehigh Valley.
He is the owner and founder of both Hyman Properties and Landau, a national retail chain with operations throughout the United States and Canada.
Hyman Properties owns and operates over 1,000 apartments throughout Eastern Pennsylvania in the Lehigh Valley, Pottsville, Williamsport, and Dubois. Of their properties in the Lehigh Valley, Mr. Hyman’s group owns several highly visible buildings in Allentown including Adelaide Mills at Hamilton and Race streets, the Tribeca building at Linden and American Parkway, and The Livingston on the 1400 block of Hamilton Street.
In recognition of his achievements in business, Mr. Hyman was awarded the Entrepreneur of the Year Award presented by Merrill Lynch, Ernst & Young and Inc. Magazine and was named Entrepreneur of the Year by Muhlenberg College. In addition, President Clinton designated Mr. Hyman as one of four Presidential delegates to The White House Commission on Small Business.
Mr. Hyman received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown University and his Master’s degree from Columbia University.
