COUNSELING CLINIC
In early 2000, HAO started the HAO Counseling Clinic. These are bilingual counseling services staffed by a qualified team of psychiatrists, psychologists and counselors available to the general public. We accept insurance from Aetna, AmeriHealth Caritas, Gateway Assured, Gateway, Medicare parts A and B, UnitedHealthcare, and UPC.

HOUSING PROGRAM
HAO's Housing Counseling Program provides services, including:

Information and referral services for housing related programs.

Translations and services to help you deal with your landlord.

Education in areas such as budgeting and goal planning.

DRUG AND ALCOHOL RECOVERY
HAO is committed to helping its clients address and recover from addiction to drugs and alcohol. Our therapists have one focus: to bring long-term sobriety to every client.
We offer an initial assessment, and assist clients with individual and group therapy by creating relapse prevention plans for lasting recovery.
SOCIAL SERVICE REFERRAL
HAO makes thousands of referrals every year. We provide general referrals and case management services regarding food banks, Lehigh County Agencies for Adult Services, Children & Youth, drug & alcohol rehab and detox, mental health treatment, Aging, & Housing Authority, Red Cross, Social Security, Allentown Literacy Council, and applications for birth certificates.
